To open a command prompt, click on start button and then type cmd in the search box and then press enter.
When the command prompt page opens then locate the OSQL to login so that you can run the MSDE database.
If you login OSQL successfully then you will receive the following line that is 1>.
Then you need to change the password by using the following commands:-
1> EXEC sp_password NULL, ‘new password’, ‘user ID’

2> GO

Note that in the new password you will have to use single quotes because the NULL value which is used for the offered password will assume that you do not know the offered password.
Now open the Microsoft FRx reporter and try to work on this.
