System error 5 is a common error of windows system which occurs when user writes the command Net View or Net Time in command prompt. As we know that windows is most popular operating system of the world but it is not safe from errors and System error 5 is also one of them. Like other errors it has also error messages that “Access id denied” which indicates that the command you are running is not permitted to you or you are not accessible to run this command. How to fix System error 5:-
If you are getting System error 5 then it is compulsory to fix it because it is an access denied error so unless you fix its issues or give the permission you can’t access the code and the error code will still comes in your system during running the Net View or Net Time code in command prompt. There are some instructions through which you can fix system error 5 if it occurs in your system so follow the given instructions-
i) Make sure that the clock synchronization is working properly and the time zone is also correct.
ii) Check that you have permission to access remote system. You can verify it by using GPResult.exe command-line tool.
iii) If ports are required in remote system then open them
iv) Also make sure that the account you are using is active and connected to the domain or not. To check this you can use command-line tool named NETdom.exe tool.
v) Verify that the sharing information between computers are correct or not
If you will follow the given steps then you can fix system error 5. You must also scan the system to remove the malicious programs if they are injected in the system because sometime they disturb the system and due to their activity we get many types of system denied error.
